[well, Mikleo waited for the introduction and explanation, and he’s less than satisfied with both, kind of tense and on edge. he can’t feel anything untoward from the residents, but this is certainly a lot to swallow, metaphorically and literally -- he still half-can’t believe he put that potion down his throat. at least he’s not exhibiting much of an effect from it yet, though his pointed teeth feel odd in his mouth and he’s trying not to pay attention to the new, soft scales spotting his hands and spreading up his skin. also, he’s dreadfully thirsty, which is weird for a seraph to feel.
his first doubly-imperative urge was to go toward the lake, of course, but he’d stubbornly turned his steps towards the looming, almost ruinlike hulk of the University instead, to try and distract himself. it’s not hard to spot him trailing into the building until he reaches the library and stops dead at the entrance, eyes wide. so many books…!]

[he can’t believe he’s starting this day off quacking and waddling around. he’s feeling even more skeptical of this setup than he is of Halloween Town’s, but, okay, he’ll go with it for now. not a lot of harm gathering eggs, right? even if he doesn’t see why he has to be a baby bird to do it.
of course, before he can even start, first he has to try to balance this egg-hunting basket on his back. with tiny stubby wings instead of arms.]
